Very very very late entry:last day in Montreal

July 23rd, 2006:

Barbeque at Jake and Aurore's house. Jake and Aurore are very good friends of my parents and of my sister and brother in law. They just got married and coincidently Jake and I went to the same junior high school when I went back to France during the 91-92 events in Zaire.
So it's fun to see them in Montreal. He is a helicopter pilot and she is a nurse.
Fun barbeque,Matthieu showed up with brand new crocs and loved them...

He also found the cat and started hugging him, then it became a chase... poor cat!

The barbeque was orchestrated by pretty much everybody, but here is Jake and my dad, masters of the grillin'!

Then it was time for pool amusements, Matthieu is learning to swim right now, and was able to swim by himself for the first time EVER! WoOHOO!

Of course I couldn't resist the temptation of throwing my dad in the pool all dressed up. My sister and I made this a tradition to do this whenever there is a pool and especially when it's an occasion where he has to actually dress up to look nice. Unfortunately my sister wasn't there and he wasn't dress to kill, but I just HAD to do it, so Mike helped me. The funny thing is that usually when my sister is present, my dad will smell it coming and will get rid of his watch, cell phone and shoes before we throw him in, but since my sister wasn't there he didn't think I would do it! Well think again, pal!
