Our last day in Samara... 11 Decembre, 2005
Today is our last day in Playa Samara… sniff!!!
How hard, we don’t want to leave!!! We made friends, we hung out with some expats, we are comfortable here!!!
Anyway, our day started early and met with Leah to go on an excursion to Playa Carillo which is east of here but feels south. It’s about 7 kilometers away from Samara. Leah introduced us to Jeff and Ann who own a real estate agency (remax) out here and who Leah was in Spanish class with for a couple week. They moved here not too long ago but have explored enough that they know where they are going and also bought a lot up in the hills of Carillo where their house is being constructed now. They took us on a very thorough tour of the surroundings of Samara. They also showed us their construction site and we were blown away by the views from the hills up there. Unfortunately, as with most places here on this trip, the photos don’t do justice to the actual sight, but you get the idea,..
Aujourd’hui est notre derniere journee a Playa Samara… sniff!!!
Dur dur, on veut pas partir!!!! On s’est fait des copains, on a rencontre des expats super sympa, on est confortable ici!!!
Enfin, notre journee a commencee tot, et nous avons commence avec Leah pour aller voir Playa Carillo qui est a l’est de Samara, a peu pres a 7 km, mais on a l’impression que c’est au sud si l’on regarde sur une grosse carte du Costa Rica. Leah nous a presente a Jeff et Ann qui ont une agence immobiliere ici (remax). Ils viennent de demenage ici, et ont meme achete un terrain dans les collines de Carillo ou leur maison est en construction en ce moment meme. Ils nous ont gentillement amene partout et meme sur le site de leur construction ou les vues etaient fabuleuses. Malheureusement les photos ne sont pas egales a la vue elle meme, mais vous voyez un peu le principe quoi…

Nous avons mange des trucs complement trop bons et sataniques tellement c'etait bon!
We found leaves from a teak tree which was perfect for fanning!
Nous avons trouve des feuilles enormes des arbres "teak" je sais pas comment on dit en francais...

After spending a long morning with them we had lunch with Leah and discussed a lot of things, as usual with her!
We then spent our last bit of time at the beach before the sun said good bye.
Apres avoir passé un long matin avec eux, nous avons dejeune avec Leah qui a toujours plein de choses a dire.
Le reste de notre après midi s’est passee a la plage jusqu’a ce que le soleil nous dise aurevoir.

Now we have an appointment with Leah to show her how to make her own blog and we’ll post this, then we’ll have diner with Eric and come back to pack…
Maintenant nous avons un rendez vous avec Leah pour lui montrer comment faire son proper blog, et pour mettre cette derniere entrée, et puis nous irons diner avec Eric, et après ca, hop on doit faire nos valises…
We’re leaving tomorrow, 10am Costa Rica time and will be arriving back in LA around 11pm.
Nous partons demain matin a 10am heure de Costa Rica, et nous arrivons a LA vers 11pm.
This is our last post from Costa Rica, hopefully there will be other times, but you will have to wait a little until we come back online on this blog for our next trip which is set to be to Montreal (again) either in a few days or in 3 weeks… So this blog will not be on hold too long either!
We’ll just post some pictures of the Liberia airport tomorrow once back at home, since it’s just a hangar and will most certainly grow really fast.
Cette entrée est la derniere depuis le Costa Rica. Esperons qu’il y aura d’autres voyages ici mais il va falloir attendre un peu pour voir d’autres entrees ici jusqu’a notre prochain voyage qui sera pour Montreal (encore) dans quelques jours ou 3 semaines… Donc ce blog ne sera pas dormant trop longtemps non plus!
Nous mettrons quelques photos de l’aeroport de Liberia demain pour montrer le hangar que c’est et comment ca va grandir tres vite (ca me rappelled l’aeroport de l’ile Maurice quand j’etais petite!!!)
